Cynthia Jordano

Director of Operations

Cindy joined the Empire Mock Trial Association Staff in 2009. Since then, she has worked on the Admissions Staff, Case Committee, and the Invitational Staff. As Director of Operations, Cindy maintains EMTA records, corresponds with teams to help them prepare for their trip to New York City, and organizes hotel accommodations.

Cindy is currently a first-year law student at New York University School of Law. Cindy graduated magna cum laude from New York University with a BA in Sociology. She was inducted into Phi Beta Kappa, a prestigious academic honor society in May 2011.

A double All-American Attorney, Cindy was captain of the NYU Mock Trial team for all four years of college and served as President her senior year. Cindy’s team won the 2010 National Mock Trial Championship and finished as the 2011 National Championship runner-up. She continues to coach the NYU Mock Trial program as well as the Tottenville High School Mock Trial team.

Mock trial inspired Cindy to pursue a career in the legal profession. She passionately believes in its ability to develop students both personally and intellectually. Cindy aims to make the Empire a memorable and valuable experience for participants, teaching them public speaking and critical thinking skills that will endure beyond the courtroom.
